If any of you happened to read my sneak peek post about this wedding on my Facebook page you will remember that the Bride, Sophie, happens to be one of my oldest friends.
The whole day was totally lovely from start to finish. Soph, being a primary school teacher is obviously, as most teachers are, very handy with a glue pot. She spent hours upon hours along with her bridesmaids pretending to be real life fairies, making her house seem like some sort of magical fairy castle that glistened from floor to ceiling. The result from the hours of sparkling and fairy dust was hundreds of beautifully covered jam jars filled with a rustic selection of freshly cut wild flowers that adorned each of the tables at the wedding reception.
The bridesmaids, also dear friends of mine, looked stunning in their slubby coloured dresses. They held mini bouquets made up of more of the fresh cut flowers and lovingly arranged by Soph’s mum Bev.
Danny looked very dashing in his blue suit. He was admittedly nervous about the big day ahead but as soon as Soph was by his side at the end of a sun drenched alter you could visibly see his whole-self relax and enjoy the moment.
We drank, we danced, we listened, we laughed and we watched as two best friends became bound together as one.
Soph & Dan I wish you a life filled with happiness, fun, family and friends. Thank you for allowing me to be such a special part of your day. Xxx
