At the start of every blog post I include a little description of the couple and how the day went. This particular wedding is in one breath easy to describe, very easy to talk about, yet deep down inside of its being is a whole other story.
I am going to tell you the way I see it. One word that I believe sums up the preparation and the day is ‘Whirlwind.’
Fizzy and Jonny planned this wedding in a whistle stop 4 weeks. They arranged every detail with help of family, friends and well-wishers in a ridiculously short space of time, and would you have known it on the day, NO!
The day began with rather a lot of snow, which was not at all expected for a mid April wedding; especially seen as the temperature the day before was a balmy 16oc. Fortunately for us the sun did get his hat on for a brief while but the storm clouds were definitely not going anywhere in a hurry and made for a rather dramatic backdrop for some of the pics.
Their closest family and friends and THE CUTEST dog in the history of Labradors surrounded them, all day, with love and laughter.
The end of my day finished with them dancing away to the brilliantly apt words of Al Green’s song, Lets Stay Together.
A whirlwind of preparation and emotions this day may have been, but what I witnessed was a young couple very much in love and a family who shared a huge amount of respect for one another.
Thank you so much for making me feel so very welcome in your home and as part of your big day. xxx
